Moos-letter #3: Six sales at our first market!

Moos-letterBy Matthew Condon, co-founder · Published

Moos-letter number three! Rachel and I attended our first IRL market last Saturday, and we made six sales (!) and talked to a LOT of curious people about Japanese Wagyu.

Our first market at Boggy Creek

Peak Wagyu was recently invited to showcase at the Boggy Creek Farm stand. We were honored to be there, at one of the oldest operating farms in Austin, with the most beautiful oak tree behind us.

We're planning on being there most Saturdays for the next few months (the farm stand is open 8am–1pm at 3414 Lyons Rd), so drop by, get some beautiful farm-fresh produce, and maybe take home a Peak Wagyu steak as well.

We posted about the day on Instagram; a like and a repost help us more than you'd think!

A custom Peak cutting board

Thanks to Boggy's friendliest neighbor, Neville from Austin Engraving Solutions, for making us this custom Peak cutting board to use as a display. It really upgraded our table!

Joseph's Wagyu banh mi

When his favorite banh mi place shut down, Joseph made Peak Wagyu into two very delicious banh mi with our Plate Karubi: charred beef, pickled carrots and red onion, cilantro and mayo on a toasted roll. We're very into it.

Cooked something with yours? Tag @peakwagyu or reply to this email; we'd love to share it.
